Sinead O'Connor is on Bucharest stage in June

The Irish singer Sinead O'Connor, internationally known for her hit "Nothing compares 2 U", released in early 90’s, will perform in Romania on the 11^th of June, as sources in the market for advertising are announcing. The artist 45 years old, whose recusant lifestyle has caused many controversies, (for example because she changed her religion several times), has gain her public because the success of the song "Nothing compares 2 U" from the album "I Do Not Want What I have not Got", released in 1990.
The hit "Nothing compares 2 U", is a cover that Sinead played after the song with the same name written by the American singer Prince for the band The Family (1985). "Nothing compares 2 U" in her interpretation was number 1 for several weeks in the pop charts of music from Ireland, UK, Germany or the USA. The album "I Do Not Want What I have not Got", has been sold over seven million copies, and was nominated four times at the Grammy Awards in 1991, winning the trophy for best alternative music album.
