CC Catch is catching the 80's

 

C.C. Catch, the famous artists of the 80's, renamed the “Queen of continental discos.” will perform for the first time in Romania, on April 11, at Bucharest’s Palace Hall, according to the organizers of the event, Project Events and Bestevent.
The artist’s debut single was “I Can Lose My Heart Tonight,” in 1985.
C.C. Catch became famous to the public with hits such as "In the Backseat of Your Cadillac," "I Can Lose My Heart Tonight," "Soul Survivor," "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jump in my Car" and "Heaven and Hell."
Dieter Bohlen, the artisan of the duo Modern talking, noticed her during a concert in Hamburg and offered her the chance to collaborate with him. It was him who convinced Caroline to change her name into C.C. Catch and to sign a contract with Hansa records. Their collaboration lasted for four years, until 1989, and was one of the most successful music partnerships of all times, the two releasing a total of four albums and 12 singles.
Over her career, C.C. Catch released five albums: "Catch the Catch" (1985), "Welcome To The Heartbreak Hotel" (1986), "Like A Hurricane" (1987), "Big Fun" (1988), "Here What I Say" (1989), and eleven Best Of compilations.
